Pascal

Moved to Pascal — the language of every olympiad and my first real games. In class we almost competed over who had written more programs: everyone carried their own floppy disk, “I’ve got a hundred programs” — “and I’ve got a hundred and twenty”. The programs were very simple, like entering two numbers and printing their sum, but every lesson added something. After that I wanted to make a big game of my own, and started Tank.
